Seagrass Beach in the first week of summer seems inhospitable and repels me back with the smell of rotting grass, insects that appear to be immune to the strongest repellent and dying deer.

This doe was limping along in the marsh, now filled up considerably with the rain from this week. She looks like she is starving and will not survive the summer, if the month.
